How calls are counted
- Calls under 15 seconds aren’t counted.
- Long calls count as one call for every 4 minutes started, so a 6-minute call counts as 2.

- Your included calls reset at the start of each billing month. Unused calls don’t roll over.
- Calls during the free trial are free.
- We email you when you reach 80% and 100% of your included calls.
- If you’d rather not pay extra, choose “stop at my limit” when you sign up. Extra calls aren’t charged, and we email you the code that sends calls back to your own voicemail.
The free trial
Your first 14 days are free. We take your card at sign-up through Stripe, and nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Then it’s month to month, with no contract.

What happens if I use all my calls?
Extra calls are charged at your plan’s per-call rate. We email you when you reach 80% and 100% of your calls.

Why do you need my card for a free trial?
We take your card at sign-up through Stripe so Kūmara can keep running after day 14 without a gap. Nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Plans are month to month with no contract. Cancel and turn off the forwarding, and your phone works exactly as it did before.
Which phone companies does it work with?
In New Zealand it works with One NZ (pay monthly), Spark and 2degrees. Some prepay plans don’t allow call forwarding, so we check yours during setup.
