Site visit booked for Wednesday 9:30am. Summary emailed to Dave.

- Kūmara
Kia ora, Rata Plumbing, this is Dave’s AI assistant. Calls are recorded. How can I help?
- Caller
Oh hi, yeah, our hot water cylinder’s started leaking. There’s a puddle round the bottom of it.
- Kūmara
Ah, not what you want. Is it coming from the cylinder itself, or from a pipe or valve on top?
- Caller
Looks like the bottom of the tank. It’s just a slow drip at the moment.
- Kūmara
Okay. Do you know roughly how old it is, and is it electric or gas?
- Caller
Electric. It was here when we bought the place, so fifteen years, maybe more.
- Kūmara
Thanks. If it gets worse, your toby’s usually near the front boundary, and that turns the water off. Whereabouts are you?
- Caller
Kamo, in Whangārei. 14 Kamo Road.
- Kūmara
Sweet. Dave can come and have a look Wednesday at half past nine, or Thursday at two. Which suits?
- Caller
Wednesday morning’s great. I’m Sarah, by the way.
- Kūmara
Thanks Sarah. So that’s a leaking electric cylinder, about fifteen years old, Wednesday at half past nine at 14 Kamo Road. Is this number the best one for Dave?
- Caller
Yep, this one.
- Kūmara
Too easy, you’re booked in. Dave will get all the details now.

- Kūmara
Kia ora, Kauri Electrical, this is Hemi’s AI assistant. Calls are recorded. How can I help?
- Caller
Gidday, the whole house has lost power and the main switch on the board won’t stay up.
- Kūmara
Okay. Is there any smoke, sparking or a burning smell from the switchboard right now?
- Caller
Nah, nothing like that. It’s just dead.
- Kūmara
Good. Have the neighbours still got power, so it’s just your place?
- Caller
Yeah, next door’s lights are on.
- Kūmara
Right. If it’s safe, leave the main switch off, use dry hands, and don’t touch anything wet or damaged. What’s your name and address?
- Caller
Mike, 22 Tūtānekai Street, Rotorua.
- Kūmara
Thanks Mike. I’ve got your number as oh-two-seven, five-five-five, oh-one-nine-eight. Is that the best one?
- Caller
Yeah, that’s me.
- Kūmara
I’ve flagged this as urgent to Hemi right now. Want me to try putting you straight through to him?
- Caller
Yes please.

Kia ora, Tōtara Building, this is Tama’s AI assistant. Calls are recorded. How can I help?
- Caller
Kia ora, we’re after a quote for a new deck out the back. We’re in Pāpāmoa.
- Kūmara
Choice. Roughly how big are you thinking, and how high off the ground will it be?
- Caller
Maybe six metres by four, and about a metre up off the lawn.
- Kūmara
Got it. Timber, or are you thinking composite?
- Caller
Probably kwila. What would something like that cost, ballpark?
- Kūmara
Fair question, but Tama sorts all the pricing once he’s measured up, so you get a proper number. He could come Saturday at ten in the morning. Does that suit?
- Caller
Yeah, that works.
- Kūmara
Sweet. What’s the address, and your name?
- Caller
Aroha, 8 Te Okuroa Drive.
- Kūmara
Thanks Aroha. So that’s a measure-up for a six by four kwila deck, about a metre high, Saturday at ten at 8 Te Okuroa Drive, Pāpāmoa. That right?
- Caller
Perfect.
- Kūmara
All booked. Tama will see you Saturday.

- Caller
Hi, last night’s storm has lifted some roofing and water’s coming into our hallway. We’re in Paraparaumu.
- Kūmara
Sorry to hear that. Is the water anywhere near lights, power points or the switchboard?
- Caller
No, it’s dripping by the front door.
- Kūmara
Okay, a bucket and towels will help for now. Is it a longrun iron roof, or tiles?
- Caller
Iron. It’s a single-storey place.
- Kūmara
Thanks, that helps Sam bring the right gear. Can I grab your name and address?
- Caller
Kiri, 27 Kāpiti Road.

Thanks Kiri. Is this the best number for Sam to call you back on?
- Caller
Yes, that’s my mobile.

Before you try it
Does it sound like a robot?
It uses a natural Kiwi voice and keeps things short and casual. It tells callers up front that it’s an AI assistant and that the call is recorded.
If a caller asks whether it’s an AI, it says yes and carries on.
What if a caller wants a real person?
Kūmara takes their details and tells them you’ll call back, and you get the summary by email. For emergencies, it can put the caller straight through to your mobile.
What happens in a real emergency?
If someone’s in danger, like a gas smell, sparks or smoke, Kūmara tells them to hang up and ring 111 straight away, before asking for anything else. Kūmara isn’t an emergency service.
